Title: SOLVED: Exchanges vs. Wallets: Who Should Be Held Liable for Stolen Crypto?

So I was thinking, who's really responsible when your crypto gets swiped off an exchange or your wallet gets hacked? Should it be the exchange that stored your coins, or the wallet's devs who failed to secure it properly? Sounds like a classic case of blame-shifting to me.

"IMHO, exchanges should be held liable for stolen crypto since they're the ones handling all the transfers and storage. If they don't have proper security in place, it's not the user's fault when their funds get hacked. Just look at the FTX scandal and the millions lost."
