Guys I just got owned by a smart bulb. I was trying to sync it with my voice assistant and somehow it started freaking out and just wouldn't turn off, now my whole living room is flooded with this annoying blue light and I don't know how to shut it down. Has anyone else had this issue?

LMAO, that's hilarious. I've had my share of smart bulbs gone rogue, but the worst was when one started flashing Morse code for 'HELP' in the middle of the night . Luckily, I was able to reset it via the app, but that was a wild ride

Dude, that's hilarious. I had a similar issue with my Philips Hue bulbs, but I managed to resolve it by hard resetting them via the app. Worked like a charm afterwards.

lol dude, I had a similar issue with my smart bulb, it would just flicker endlessly. Ended up being a faulty hub that I swapped out for a new one, and now it's working smoothly. Glad I could resolve it without going off the grid

Lol, this is why I switched to a smart plug for my bulbs, way easier to control and troubleshoot. Anyone know if there's a workaround for the app syncing issue or is it time for a factory reset?

same thing happened to me with my Philips Hue bulbs, just reflashed the router and reset the bulb a few times, but now I'm thinking of just hardwiring them for good, no more wifi issues
