"Skype Not Working After Latest Update? I'm Having Issues Connecting After Yesterday's Patch"

"Hey guys, just installed the latest Skype update yesterday and now I'm having trouble connecting. I'm getting the 'connection failed' error and my friends who have the update too are experiencing the same issue. Has anyone else here run into this problem?"

"yeah same here, I got the update yesterday and now Skype keeps freezing on me, tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck so far. Has anyone found a solution to this? Maybe a reset would help?"

"Yooo, I was having the same issue last night. Turned out my firewall was blocking the latest Skype update, so I just added an exception and it's been smooth sailing ever since. Might wanna check your firewall settings, bro."
