Skype Issues - Can't Get Past the Blue Screen of Death

Hey guys, I'm having some serious issues with Skype lately. Everytime I try to log in, I get stuck at the blue screen of death and it just freezes. Has anyone else been experiencing this or is it just me?

Dude, try disabling your antivirus software real quick, it's been known to cause issues with Skype's installation. Also, uninstall and reinstall, it might just be a corrupted install. Let us know if that resolves the issue.

same here, been having issues with skype crashing on me for the past week, tried updating my skype and reinstalling it but still no luck. anyone else having this problem?

Hey OP, I had a similar issue last week and it turned out to be a malware infection. Try running a full virus scan and see if that resolves it. It's worth a shot before you start reinstalling the whole thing.

I've had similar issues in the past and found that a simple reboot while holding the "right shift" key solved the problem, or you can try reinstalling the latest Skype update. Also, make sure your Windows is up to date, that usually resolves the blue screen issue for me. Been a few months since I've seen that screen, so hope this helps!
