Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my photography game without breaking the bank. I've got a decent DSLR, but I'm itching to try some newer lenses and maybe even a secondary body. What are some affordable options out there that'll give me a legit boost in quality?

Hey guys, just wanted to throw in that I found a great deal on a used Tamron 24-70mm lens for my Canon. It was a fraction of the original price and it makes a huge difference in my low-light shots. Anyone else have experience with Tamron lenses?

Yea, I recently picked up an old Pentax K-1000 for like $20 and it's still a beast. Just gotta clean the lens and you're good to go. Anyone know good lenses for it?

Agreed, second-hand gear is a solid way to level up without breaking the bank. I scored a great deal on a used Nikon D850 a few months back and it's been a beast for landscape shots. Anyone have some tips for lens swapping on the fly?

Lol at the 'on a budget' part. Honestly, I've been considering upgrading my Canon 80D to the newer 90D, but reading about the 7D Mark III has got me thinking if it's worth the extra cost. Anyone have any real-world experience with those two?

Lol, I know someone who got a killer deal on a used 5D Mark III for under $1k. It's a beast of a camera and totally worth the upgrade. Anyone else score a sweet deal on a high-end DSLR?

Dude, gotta disagree on the old canon 5d mark ii, it's still a beast but kinda outdated, I'd say stick with the 5d mark iv or even the 6 if you're looking for that full frame feel without breaking the bank.

I'm really loving the suggestions in this thread, but I had to chime in and say that I recently picked up a used Nikon 50mm f/1.4 for like 200 bucks and it's been a total game changer for low-light photography. Definitely check out some deals on craigslist or local FB groups, you can find some hidden gems.
