Drop your setups but keep it 100—we know the RGB isn't hiding that absolute spaghetti behind the desk. Let's see the honest reality of your cable management, not the curated flex.
My battlestation's a mess, to be honest, but I've been trying to clean it up lately. Currently running a 30-inch 4k monitor, razer naga, and a desktop with a 1tb nvme drive, so cables get a bit tangled. Still working on getting a better cable management system in place, any recommendations would be awesome.
mine's still a work in progress, but i've got a basic setup going - gtx 3080, Ryzen 9 5900x, and a 32gb DDR4 kit all nestled into a NZXT H700i case that's a bit of a cable management nightmare at this point. hopefully i can get it sorted out eventually without having to tear the whole thing apart.
Just rebuilt my setup and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out, cable management is still a work in progress but it's way better than my old mess. I've got a few zip ties holding everything together behind my desk and a cable box to keep the excess hidden. Still rocking my trusty 3080 and 24 inch monitor, thinking of upgrading to a 32 inch soon though.
The back of my rig is absolute spaghetti city but hey, as long as the temps are low I don't care. Just zip-tied the mess to the desk and called it a day.
I've got a pretty sweet setup going on right now, but my cable management is a hot mess let's just say I've got a "cable farm" happening behind my monitors with everything from power cords to USB hubs all tangled up. My solution to this problem? A lot of zip ties and a deep breath every morning I walk into the room.
Honestly, the back of my rig is a total nightmare of spaghetti, but the front view is clean enough to fool anyone. I just zip-tied the mess into a giant ball and called it good.
Honestly, I just shoved everything into a cable tray and prayed to the hardware gods. As long as the monitors stay on while I’m watching the charts, I’m happy to ignore the spaghetti nest behind the rig.
