Title: What's the Right Approach for Smart Contracts?

Hey everyone, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this topic. With all the hype around smart contracts lately, I've been wondering whether they should be open-source or proprietary. Should we be able to see and modify the code behind our transactions, or does proprietary ownership keep the tech more exclusive and secure?

"I think open-source is the way to go for smart contracts. Not only does it promote transparency and accountability, but it also allows the community to contribute and improve them. Proprietary contracts stifle innovation, in my opinion."

"I think open-source is the way to go, mate. It allows devs to audit and improve the code, which is super important for security and transparency. Proprietary smart contracts are just asking for trouble, if you ask me."

Honestly, I think open-source is the way to go. It promotes transparency, accountability, and community involvement, which are essential for developing and auditing complex smart contracts. Plus, it's better for the long-term growth of blockchain tech.
