Hey fellow tech enthusiasts, I'm starting to feel like my photography game needs an upgrade. I'm on a tight budget, but I'm looking to invest in a solid camera rig that won't break the bank. I've been eyeing some used gear and DIY mods, but I'd love to hear from anyone who's been in my shoes - what are some affordable upgrades that have improved your photography setup?

"Dude, have you considered looking into some of the older camera models from reputable brands? You can often snag them for cheap online marketplaces and they're still gonna put out some solid footage. I just picked up a used Canon 80D for under $300."

"Just upgraded my camera rig myself, and I can say a decent quality rig doesn't have to break the bank. I picked up a used Sony a6400 for 500 bucks and paired it with a Viltrox 85mm lens for around 200. Now I'm ready to take my pics to the next level."

"Hey OP, I'm loving the breakdown on your camera setup. Just a thought, have you considered repurposing old lenses from thrift stores or online marketplaces? I scored a great deal on an old Canon L-series lens and it's been a game-changer for my videos."

"Love the thread, been looking to upgrade my own rig. Have you guys checked out the DJI Ronin-S? It's a beast, but not too pricey if you're looking for stability and smooth footage. Also, has anyone tried the SmallRig accessories? Solid stuff for budget-friendly upgrades."
