"Hey everyone, just a heads up - I'm planning to build a new AMD rig and I'm stuck deciding between two server deals I found online. Both systems have 8GB RAM, but one has a Ryzen 7 5800X and the other has an older Ryzen 7 3700X. Any thoughts on whether the extra CPU power is worth the extra cost over a $50 discount on RAM?"

"Dude, for that kind of build, I'd say a 16GB RAM kit and a Ryzen 9 5900X would be way more future-proof. Don't get caught sleeping on mid-range components that'll be obsolete in a year. Save up for the good stuff or wait for prices to drop."

"Hey OP, I think you're looking at a sweet spot for a gaming PC build. I just saw a Ryzen 7 5800X for 349 bucks and 8GB RAM for like 60 bucks, which should fit your budget nicely."

"Definitely think an 8GB RAM limit is too low, especially with Ryzen 7 5800X that has 8 cores. I'd look for deals with at least 16GB RAM for future-proofing. Anyone know any sweet deals on systems with that config?"
