"Hey all, I'm trying to build a scalable e-commerce site from scratch and I'm torn between various frameworks. I've been looking into Node.js with Express, Flask with Python, and Laravel with PHP, but I want to know if anyone has any experience with any of these and can share their thoughts on which is the most efficient and cost-effective. Specifically, I'm looking for something that can handle high traffic and multiple payment gateways seamlessly."

"Dude, I've had great success with Node.js and Express.js for e-commerce sites. It's lightweight, scalable, and integrates seamlessly with popular frameworks like React for the frontend. Has anyone had experience with Next.js for e-commerce too?"

"Dudes, I've been down this road before. I'd highly recommend using React with a Node.js backend and MongoDB as your database. The scalability and flexibility are insane - just make sure you implement proper caching and load balancing."

"Hey OP, I think you should consider using a headless CMS like Next.js or Gatsby for a scalable e-commerce site. Both offer excellent customization and performance, and they're pretty easy to learn. Just make sure to integrate them with a robust payment gateway like Stripe or PayPal."
