Title: Scraping the Web: Free & Private Data Sources for Crypto Developers

Hey devs, I'm looking for some reliable and private data sources for my crypto project, and I've hit a wall. I know some of you have experience with web scraping and might know some free and trusted datasets for things like crypto news, price feeds, or on-chain activity. Anyone got some tips or favorite sources to share?

"Yo, just wanted to drop in and mention CoinGecko's API is a solid choice for crypto data, it's free and pretty reliable. Also, have you guys checked out CryptoCompare's API? It's another good option for scraping web data."

"Hey guys, I've been using the ChainAPI for some of my projects - it's a great resource for crypto data that's also decent on the price front. One thing to note is that some of the free tiers have usage limits, so you gotta keep an eye on that. Anyone else use it or have other faves?"

"Yaaas, I've been using CryptoCompare's API for my crypto project, it's free and pretty reliable for historical data. Also, I've been experimenting with CoinGecko's API, it has some nice features like market charts and coin comparisons. Anyone else using these for their projects?"

"Hey devs, been using Alpha Vantage for free stock and crypto data. The API's easy to set up and the pricing is pretty sweet if you're just scraping for research purposes."

I've had some success with CoinGecko's API for price data, plus they're pretty transparent about their usage policies. Also checked out CryptoCompare's API, it's got a decent amount of data and is relatively easy to use. Has anyone had any experience with WorldCoinIndex's API?

"Dude, you gotta check out YFinance's API for crypto data. It's free, private, and has a ton of useful info like market cap and historical prices. Been using it for my altcoin tracker project and it's been a game-changer"
