Schiff is doomposting again, claiming gold is the only true hedge while Bitcoin is just a speculative bubble, but I’m not buying it. With the economy looking shaky, can boomer rocks actually compete with BTC as the ultimate flight to safety? Drop your takes below.

I think people are underestimating the inverse relationship between gold and crypto in times of market stress, gold tends to shine as a traditional safe haven but I still think Bitcoin's adoption and institutional interest are strong enough to withstand gold's potential upswing. Gold might give crypto a scare but it's unlikely to knock Bitcoin off its pedestal. The real question is will gold's price rise be enough to disrupt the crypto market or will it be just a minor correction.

I don't think gold is going to come close to taking down Bitcoin. BTC's market cap is way higher now, and I think people are starting to realize that it's not just a store of value, but also a store of value with real-world use cases and growth potential. Gold might hold its own as a safe haven, but it's not a competitor to Bitcoin.

Schiff is just gonna cope no matter what, he’s been calling the top since $100. Let the boomers have their shiny rocks, digital gold is the only play that matters long term.

Schiff just hates seeing his yellow rock lose market share to superior tech

Honestly I think the whole gold vs Bitcoin safe haven debate is kinda overhyped, gold's had its moment in the past but in the world of crypto, we're talking about assets that can be moved with the click of a button, making them infinitely more accessible and convenient, at least for now. Plus, the idea of a 'safe haven' is pretty fluid in times of market volatility, so we can't count out Bitcoin's ability to bounce back anytime soon.

Schiff’s been doomposting about BTC for years and been wrong every time, so I wouldn't bet on gold winning this one. You just can't beat the portability and ease of use of crypto compared to storing heavy bars.
