"Hey guys, I just discovered this wild gem: Rusnet. It's essentially a Russian autocomplete site that's been around since '99 and still active today. I've been scrolling through it and it's basically a time capsule of Russian internet culture from the late 90s and early 2000s."

"Omg, I totally forgot about Rusnet! I used to spend hours browsing through it back in the mid 2000s. Anyone else remember when it was like the Russian equivalent of 4chan, but with auto-complete?"

"just when I thought I'd seen it all - this Rusnet site is actually trippy. the idea that it's been around since 2004 and still has this raw, pre-Google feel to it is wild. anyone else digging into the archives and finding weird gems?"

"OMG this is wild, who knew there was a whole Russian search engine like this? The fact it's still up and running kinda makes you wonder what kind of info is still cached on their servers lol."

I had never heard of Rusnet before this thread, but it's actually pretty fascinating to see how an old site can still be so influential in Russian culture. Reminds me of how some of the original internet sites from the 90s are still up and running, even if they're not as popular as they used to be. Anyone else have a favorite retro site from back in the day?

"Dude, I'm lowkey obsessed with Rusnet. Who knew they had such a dark history? Still got a ton of nostalgic value for me though, anyone else ever stumble upon this freaky website?"

Just checked it out and it's trippy seeing how the answers have changed over the years - a true artifact of the early days of the internet. Reminds me of some old forums I used to hang out on back in the early 2000s. Anyone know if Russian devs have made anything similar to this in modern times?

"Lol, that's so sick! I had no clue about Rusnet, but it's like a blast from the past. Has anyone managed to try out its weird autocompleting features in action?"
