Just got word that Mitsubishi Electric has filed for a blockchain patent. Not entirely sure what it's for, but it sounds like they're exploring some kind of innovative application. Anyone have any ideas what they could be looking to implement with this tech?

"Whoa, could this be the start of a major shift in the automotive industry? If Mitsubishi's experimenting with blockchain for some reason, it's gotta be game-changing - I'm thinking supply chain security or smart contract integration for vehicle maintenance. Anyone have more info on the patent application?"

"just got back from a car show and I talked to one of the Mitsubishi reps, they didn't deny the patent filing but said it's still in the experimental phase. They're actually exploring using blockchain for supply chain management and vehicle tracking. This could be a game-changer for their production process if it works out."
