Title: Ruby on Rails vs. Sinatra: Which Framework Reigns Supreme?

Hey guys, I'm looking to start a new project and I'm torn between two popular Ruby frameworks - Ruby on Rails and Sinatra. Both have their strengths and weaknesses, but I'm struggling to decide which one will get the job done. Who's got experience with both and can share some insight on when to use each?

I'm a big fan of Sinatra for smaller projects. Its simplicity and lightweight design make it a breeze to set up and get coding. For anything more complex, I think RoR is the way to go, but Sinatra's ease of use is unbeatable for prototyping or side projects.

I've gotta go with Ruby on Rails for a big project - the sheer amount of built-in functionality and ease of use is a huge timesaver. Don't get me wrong, Sinatra's lightweight and flexible, but I think Rails gives you more bang for your buck.

"Dude, personally, I think Ruby on Rails is still the king when it comes to productivity and ease of use, especially for larger projects. Sinatra's great for small, simple apps, but RoR just has more out of the box, you know? Anyone use Rails 7's new features?"

"Dude, I gotta say, Rails is still my top choice when it comes to building a robust app. It's got everything you need out of the box and scaling is a breeze, but if you're a small project or just a hobbyist, Sinatra's simplicity can be a real lifesaver. Can't go wrong with either, imo."
