"Ruby on Rails Still the King for Rapid Dev?"

"Hey devs, I'm curious to know if Ruby on Rails is still the go-to choice for rapid development projects. I've been using it for years and haven't seen much disruption from newer frameworks. Are there any other frameworks that come close to Rails' ease of use and speed?"

"Dude, I gotta disagree. I've been playing around with Django and FastAPI lately, and they're giving RoR a run for its money in terms of speed and scalability. Maybe not the king, but still a solid choice for rapid dev!"

I gotta respectfully disagree, guys. While RoR is still a solid choice, I've been loving Flask in Python for rapid dev recently. It's super lightweight and flexible, and the community's also got some awesome tools.

"TBH, I'm still a fan of Rails, but it's getting harder to ignore the appeal of frameworks like Next.js and Nest.js for building fast, scalable, and maintainable apps. Plus, with the rise of Jamstack and serverless, I think the landscape is shifting towards more 'micro-service-y' solutions. Anyone else feeling the same?"

"Hey devs, personally I think Ruby on Rails still has its strengths but for rapid dev, I'd say Node.js with Express is a better fit. It's way more lightweight and flexible, making it easier to spin up projects quickly."
