Title: "Ruby on Rails 7: Should We Upgrade from Rails 6 Now?"

I'm planning to upgrade our project from Rails 6 to 7 soon, but I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle. From what I've read, Rails 7 brings some major improvements like better performance, new APIs, and improved security features. Has anyone else made the switch and what were your experiences with the upgrade process?

"Personally, I'd say hold off on upgrading to Rails 7 for now. I've read a few posts mentioning some breaking changes that can cause more headaches than they're worth. Maybe wait for a few service packs before diving in."

"IMHO, it's worth considering the upgrade as Rails 7 has some major security patches and improvements, but you'll need to assess whether the benefits outweigh the potential hassle of migrating all your existing apps. Have you guys already started testing the upgrade on a staging env?"

"Personally, I'd only upgrade if you're running into major compatibility issues with new gems or frameworks. Otherwise, stick with Rails 6 for now, unless you're eager to test out some new features. I've heard 7.0.2 is a pretty stable version, though."

"Personally, I'd say it's a good idea to start planning the upgrade to Rails 7, but don't rush into it just yet. The new features in Rails 7 are pretty cool, but I've heard there are still some breaking changes from Rails 6 to iron out. Has anyone else had any experience with the upgrade process?"
