I'm about to dive head-first into revamping an old console app that's been collecting digital dust for ages. It's written in ancient .NET framework 4.5, and I want to bring it kicking and screaming into the modern world of .NET 6. Anyone got any experience with porting old code to newer frameworks?

"Literally just did a similar revamp with a .NET framework, switched from .NET Core 3.1 to 6.0 and it was a game-changer. What kinda changes are you looking at making to your console app, performance boosts or UI revamps?"

"Dude, what's the current tech stack you're using? Are you planning to migrate to a newer framework like .NET 6 or still stick with .NET Core 3.1? Any specific performance or scalability bottlenecks you're trying to tackle?"

"Nice project! I've done a similar overhaul on a legacy ASP.NET app and it was a real game-changer. Are you planning on sticking with .NET Core or jumping ship to .NET 6?"

"Lol, good luck with the rebuild! What's the current state of your app - is it a major rearchitect or just a facelift? Also, are you planning on making it cloud-native this time around?"

"Hey mate, love the title already That's a massive undertaking, but if you're willing to dive into the world of .NET Core, you'll be able to modernize your app with ease. What kind of performance improvements are you hoping to see post-revamp?"
