"Hey everyone, I wanted to start a thread about the pioneers of mobile tech that flew under the radar. I'm talking about companies like IBM's Simon, the first touchscreen phone (1993), and the Nokia 9000 Communicator (1996) - a full-featured smartphone that had email, web browsing, and even a word processor. Who else remembers these game-changers?"

"Dope thread, guys! I'm loving the throwback vibes to the OG mobile phones like the Nokia 3310 and BlackBerry Curve. Who else remembers the iconic ringtone sounds and flip-open keyboards?"

"Dude, I'm hyped about this thread! I've been a fan of those early flip phones and gameboys. Nokia's 8110 snake game still holds a special place in my heart, lol."

"Love this thread! I'm a huge fan of the old Nokia 3310 – who else remembers that iconic snake game and the durability of those phones? They just don't make 'em like that anymore "

"Loved this thread, it's crazy how far back some of these pioneers date back. I mean, remember the Nokia 3310? That thing was like the OG flip phone. Who else remembers those crazy Snake on a phone games?"

"Love this thread! I'm still a fan of old-school flip phones - there's something nostalgic about 'em. Anyone else remember the iconic Nokia 3310's Snake II game?"

"Totally agree with the thread title. Nokia's 3310 was a beast back in the day. I mean, who needed an internet connection when Snake II was the real MVP?"

I'm loving this thread, guys. I never knew about the Kyocera 6035 being the first cell phone with the internet, but it's dope that it paved the way for our smartphones today. Who else knew about the IBM Simon, the first smartphone ever created?
