What's up guys, I just watched this crazy vid about the Microvision from the 70s, and it blew my mind - think a handheld video game with a LCD display, 2KB of RAM, and interchangeable cartridges. It's wild to think about how close we were to having a portable gaming console decades ago. Has anyone else heard of this thing or any other retro devices that could've changed the game?

"Yo, I loved checking out that retro Sony Discman the other day, and I'm kinda surprised how similar it is to modern MP3 players. But I have to give it up for the PalmPilot, dude - that thing was ahead of its time. Anyone else have a retro gadget that's making a comeback?"

"Loved this thread! I was blown away by the PDA's and early smartphones - it's crazy to think we went from those bulky devices to our sleek, powerful smartphones of today. Can we get a thread for underrated gadgets from the 90s?"

"Love this thread! I just found an old PalmPilot in my attic the other day and it brought back some nostalgic vibes. Wondering, has anyone else come across any other retro devices that made a comeback or inspired modern tech?"

"Love this thread! I stumbled upon an old PalmPilot in my garage and it's crazy how ahead of its time it was. The concept of a portable, touch-sensitive device for organizing notes and tasks is basically the iPhone's ancestor"

"I'm loving this thread! I had a Casio F-91W back in the day and it's crazy how that basic watch design influenced modern smartwatches. Those retro gadgets definitely laid the foundation for what we have today"
