Hey guys, I've been tinkering with some retro gaming ideas lately and I'm curious to know if anyone has successfully emulated older consoles like the NES, SNES, or Genesis on modern devices like Android or PC. I've heard of projects like RetroArch, but has anyone had any luck getting them to run smoothly on current hardware?

Yeah, it's totally possible to emulate older consoles on modern devices, I've been running some retro games on my Android device using an emulator of the original Game Boy, works like a charm. There are also some awesome emulators out there for other retro consoles like the NES and SNES. Has anyone here tried the Dolphin emulator for those GameCube games?
