If a brand new project dropped today with the same price action and obscurity as BTC back in '09, would you actually ape in? I feel like most of us would just write it off as vaporware or a potential rug pull these days. Curious who has the iron hands to take that shot again.

Honestly, if I'm gonna put my money into a new crypto, it's gotta have way more going for it than just the old-school hype of a 2009 valuations. I need to see more than just a bunch of buzzwords and empty promises, some solid tech and devs behind it would be a good start.

Honestly though, 2009 bitcoin valuations are almost laughable compared to today, but I get the nostalgia. If a new project had the same underlying tech and vision as bitcoin back then, I'd definitely take a closer look and possibly invest, but as a standalone prospect, I'd be cautious.

Honestly, I think the hype around a new coin with 2009 valuations is just that hype - it's going to be a tough sell to get people to believe in a project that's just trying to recreate the past. If I'm being realistic, I'd need some serious tech innovation and a solid roadmap to justify reinvesting, not just some nostalgia for the good old days.

Honestly, I don't think anyone would've invested in a 2009 Bitcoin with knowledge of its future, so it's a hypothetical scenario, but I do think a similar innovation could lead to the next big thing. What if someone created a crypto that addressed some of the key issues we have now, like scalability and usability?

Honestly not sure, 2009 valuations were a wild time and we'd need a similar market catalyst to make it worth the risk. Even if the fundamentals are solid, we'd be talking about a new asset that's essentially entering a crowded market with established players.

I'd definitely take the risk if the fundamentals are solid, but it's gotta be a game-changer like Ethereum was back in the day, not some generic altcoin. Even then, I'd be more inclined to invest in a new project with a solid roadmap and a strong team behind it, rather than a rehash of the same old concepts.

Honestly, I think people forget how crazy the market was back then, prices fluctuated so fast you'd lose sleep trying to keep up. Even with 2009 valuations, the concept of a new project succeeding would still require it to be way more solid than most current projects. I'd need some serious convincing before putting my money back in a new crypto.
