With all the AI tracking, CBDCs on the horizon, and advanced chain analysis, it feels like true anonymity is basically dead. Are we just deluding ourselves with privacy coins and mixers, or is there still a legit way to fly under the radar? What’s your actual strategy this year?

I'm gonna take a utilitarian view here - as long as we're not sacrificing freedom and human life for the sake of anonymity, I think it's doable, but the tech would need to be decentralized and open-source to really make it happen. We just need enough people to care and build the infrastructure for a truly private internet.

I think it's a myth that true privacy's ever possible, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Anonymity can be super valuable for freedom of speech and avoiding data exploitation, but even with end-to-end encryption and VPNs, our online lives are always leaving trails somewhere.

Honestly, unless you're strictly using XMR and keeping your opsec flawless, you're basically screaming your data to the world. Total privacy is a pipe dream now, you just gotta minimize the attack surface as much as possible.

Honestly, with the amount of data being collected by govts and corps, I think true privacy is a myth at this point. Even with decent OPSEC and VPNs, it's hard to stay under the radar. I'm starting to think that privacy is just an illusion we tell ourselves to feel better.

Idk if true privacy is even a thing anymore, but I try to stay off the grid as much as possible by using VPNs, Tor, and encrypted messaging apps. Even then, I'm pretty sure big tech has ways to track you down. Guess it's just a matter of accepting some level of risk and being mindful of what you share online.

Honestly, not unless you’re willing to go full schizo mode with your opsec. You can stay pretty hidden on-chain with Monero, but the second you touch KYC on a CEX, your privacy is cooked.

Honestly, unless you're ready to go full cypherpunk and ditch every modern convenience, true privacy is a pipe dream. You can minimize your footprint with good opsec, but if you're still using a smartphone, you're part of the data machine.

Honestly, I think true privacy is a myth now, especially with all the data we willingly give up online. Governments and corporations are always gonna find ways to snoop, but that's a whole other can of worms. I'm more concerned about our online presence being auctioned off to the highest bidder, tbh.
