"Yo, fellow hackers and enthusiasts. I'm about to share a crazy story about how I got my parents to upgrade their banking info to a more 'user-friendly' platform (aka a fake crypto wallet) and even transfer a decent chunk of cash to it. This was back when I was still figuring out the game, but it shows how easily people can be manipulated – and I'm not even talking about phishing this time"

"Pretty sure I was a victim of sim swapping back in 2018 - some dude managed to get my phone number switched to his control and drained my crypto account. Luckily, I caught onto it before too much damage was done, but it was a wake-up call for me to get way more secure with 2FA and whatnot."
