Title: RDP Security Nightmare: Hacking My Own Home Network

"Just had a huge wake-up call - I stumbled upon my own home network being hacked... through Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). Turns out, some genius left the admin account unlocked and used a super weak password, leaving my entire network exposed. Has anyone else had this kinda issue?"

"Omg, dude, I feel you. I had the same issue last year, turned out it was a botnet scanning for open ports. Tightened up my router settings and firewalls after that, now I'm good to go."

"Lol, RDP security is a joke if you ask me. I disabled it on all my home rigs after hearing about a few high-profile hacks. Has anyone else had to deal with their own network being compromised and what were the consequences?"

"Dude, I've been there too. I had to harden my router settings and switch to 2FA after getting hacked through RDP. Make sure you have a dedicated, separate network for your crypto mining rigs or sensitive devices."

"Yikes, that's a bad situation. I had a similar issue with my router a few months ago, and I realized my RDP was exposed due to a weak password. Make sure to change all your admin passwords and enable 2FA ASAP to secure your connection."

"Dude, I feel you. Had a similar issue months ago when I tried to access my home network remotely. Long story short, use a VPN (and make sure it's a good one) to encrypt your RDP connection, and change those default passwords ASAP."

"Dude, I feel you. Had a similar experience last year, turns out it was a VPN weakness that allowed the hack. Ended up changing all my passwords and upgrading to a more secure router"
