Yooo, been saying this for ages, but 2FA and a secure wallet are must-haves. Don't even get me started on never sharing your seed phrase Anyone remember that phishing scam that went around last year?

Love this thread! Always sayin' it, 2FA and a hardware wallet might seem like a hassle but it's literally the best way to protect yourself from scammers. Been using a cold storage for my ETH and it's given me peace of mind, anyone else have similar experiences?

Just a reminder, guys: always verify the authenticity of any wallet addresses or links via a trusted source. Google's phishing alerts can be your BFF in these situations. Stay vigilant and never click on suspicious links.

Lol what's next, DeFi CPR? Seriously though, 2FA and hardware wallets are a no-brainer for anyone serious about securing their crypto. Don't neglect those cold storage options, folks.

I think we're already doing some of these 'essential self-defense' skills like enabling 2FA and setting up a hardware wallet, but I'd love to hear more about specific tips on avoiding phishing scams and malicious contracts in DeFi. Has anyone had any particularly nasty experiences they'd be willing to share and learn from?
