Lots of us are so focused on online security, but what about physical threats? I've had some close calls where I've almost lost my crypto due to theft or damage. Has anyone else had to deal with security issues related to their hardware or offline storage?

Agreed, people often forget about physical threats. I'd recommend using a safe deposit box at a reputable bank to store your cold storage devices or even just the seed phrase. Makes it easier to recover if your home is burgled or something.

Just backing up my thoughts from a previous post, guys: use a fireproof safe or a secure storage unit for storing physical storage devices like USB drives containing crypto keys. It's worth the extra cost for the added peace of mind. Been doing this for a while now and it's been a good habit to keep.

Been there, done that. Keep your offline storage in a fireproof safe, and consider using a paper wallet or a hardware wallet like Ledger or Trezor. Don't forget to keep a record of your recovery phrase in a super secure spot

Lol, gotta say, most people overthink this one. Just use a basic safe for your hardware wallets and keep them offline, simple as that. Don't go overboard with fancy security measures, just keep it clean and secure.

I've actually experienced a wallet theft in a burglary a year ago, luckily my coins were stored in an offline cold storage solution which made it impossible for the thieves to access. That being said, I would recommend using a hardware wallet with a PIN and 2FA whenever possible. It's a small added layer of security but it can go a long way in protecting your offline investments.
