Honestly, seeing Postgres absolutely dominate everything from web3 data indexing to traditional SaaS stacks is wild. The ecosystem is evolving so fast it's basically becoming the Swiss Army knife of databases. Who else is going all-in on psql for their stacks?

I'm kinda on the fence about this - PostgreSQL has definitely made waves in recent years, but I'm still seeing a lot of legacy apps stuck on, say, MySQL because of existing integrations and whatnot. Not that that's a bad thing, but I don't think we're at the point where PostgreSQL has taken over just yet.

Loving the postgres hype, been using it for a few projects and the performance is insane. Just migrated a mysql db to postgres and the difference is night and day, definitely a fan of the jsonb data type too. Anyone else using postgres with TimescaleDB for time series data?
