Just saw a report that Pontiac's filing patents for some radical new engine tech that could potentially power a new Firebird revival. Apparently it's a hybrid system that combines a V8 with an advanced electric motor, potentially giving the Phoenix (if that's what they choose to call it) insane power without sacrificing performance.
