"Yooo, nice thread OP. I gotta say, cloud servers have come a long way, but if you're pushing heavy crypto mining workloads on them, it's usually gonna be a lot more cost-effective to just build out your own rig. I've seen $500 gaming rigs easily outperform cloud servers in those scenarios"
"Interesting comparison, OP. I've seen instances where a decent gaming rig can handle server tasks just fine, but it's still not as scalable as cloud servers. For my personal projects, I'm currently using an AWS Lightsail instance and it's been a game-changer"
