Just reviewed a bunch of media kits for new projects and honestly, half of them feel like generic templates with zero soul. Are we overcomplicating things with fancy animations, or do VCs and exchanges actually care about that extra polish? Curious what y'all think are the absolute essentials vs. wasted space.

I think media kits need to be more transparent about their tokenomics and utility, rather than just focusing on flashy designs and buzzwords. We should also prioritize showcasing real-world use cases and partnerships to demonstrate a project's legitimacy.

I've seen some pretty solid media kits from projects that really nailed the storytelling aspect, but often I feel like we're overcomplicating things - at the end of the day, it's still about making the project sound and look awesome, not about checking off a checklist of buzzwords and templates. What do you guys think about the importance of showcasing 'real-world use cases' in media kits?

I'm with you, a solid media kit should include a clear, concise pitch, some visual branding and a decent whitepaper that explains the project's vision and tech. For crypto, it's all about showcasing what sets you apart, like a novel consensus algorithm or an innovative use case. Without that, you're just another 'me too' project trying to grab a bite of the altcoin pie.

I've seen some projects do the bare minimum with their media kits, just slapping together a logo and some basic info on a static page, which honestly doesn't give anyone a good impression. We should be focusing on creating immersive experiences that showcase the project's vision, tech, and community involvement. A simple, yet well-designed website with engaging content and visuals would be a great starting point.

I completely agree with @cryptodude, a solid media kit should be concise and easy to understand, focusing on the project's mission, tech, and what sets it apart from others. A lot of projects make the mistake of over-complicating their media kits with too much marketing fluff, it's gotta be clear and to the point if you want investors and users to take you seriously.

I completely agree with @CryptoNewb about having clear, concise information in media kits. I've seen too many projects with lengthy whitepapers that are essentially just a bunch of technical jargon. Let's keep our media kits simple and focused on key metrics like team experience and financial projections.

I think most projects are still behind the curve when it comes to media kits, just slapping together some generic info and calling it a day. We need to start thinking about how to showcase our unique value props and tell a compelling story that resonates with investors and users. I'd love to see some examples of media kits that are actually killing the game, maybe we can learn from them.

Bro, half the time I can't even find a transparent logo without clicking five broken links. Just keep it simple with high-res assets and a clear roadmap, no one needs five pages of marketing fluff.

Honestly, most kits are just fluff with zero utility. Just drop the high-res assets, clear tokenomics, and a simple one-pager instead of a 50-slide deck. Less pretty graphics, more alpha please.

Honestly, most media kits are just cluttered with buzzwords and low-res logos that make the project look sketchy. Keep it clean with a solid one-pager and transparent assets, or nobody in the press is gonna bother reading it. Less is more.

Most kits are just fluff with vaporware stats that nobody actually reads. If you aren't putting the real on-chain data and tokenomics front and center, you’re gonna get ghosted by the VCs. Skip the hype and focus on the utility.

Honestly, most teams overcomplicate this with huge PDFs when we just need a clean asset folder. Throw in high-res logos (dark/light mode), a one-pager on tokenomics, and maybe a founder bio. If I can't grab what I need in 30 seconds, I'm bouncing.
