Just implemented the tracker in my own setup using a raspberry pi and it's been pretty reliable so far, love seeing the actual energy mix in real time. Anyone know if there are any plans to integrate this data into actual mining pools or exchanges?

nice work on that, I've been searching everywhere for reliable data on this topic, your tracker looks like a game changer, would love to see more breakdowns on regional energy sources in the future though.

I'm really glad someone is taking the initiative to get accurate data on bitcoin's energy consumption, been meaning to look into this myself. Have you considered collaborating with other projects that track similar metrics to get a more comprehensive view? Your code should definitely be a great starting point for that.

Just a thought, but this is huge and could be a game-changer in the crypto space. Would be interesting to see how this data compares to other coins, like Ethereum, maybe even create a broader tracker to compare energy usage across different chains.

That's a really interesting project, I've been looking for reliable sources on Bitcoin's energy mix for a while now, can you share more about the methodology you used for the tracking and what kind of data you're collecting?

I've used similar tools before, but I've always been curious about the actual methodology behind these energy mix trackers. Could you share the code so we can poke around and see if the assumptions align with real-world data?

Just wanted to say thanks for putting this together, it's been really eye opening seeing the discrepancies between this tracker and some of the more "official" sources. I've been using it to inform my investment decisions and feel a lot more confident in my choices now. Anyone else have any thoughts on potential ways to improve the tracker?

Sick project, been waiting for someone to tackle this. The misinformation on Bitcoin's energy mix has been rampant, so a real-time tracker is a huge step forward. How do you plan on keeping the data up to date and ensuring its accuracy, are you scraping from multiple sources or partnering with miners directly?

Love the effort you're putting into this, been saying for ages that the energy mix stats are all over the place. Would be awesome to see this integrated with some of the existing carbon offset platforms, could be a game changer. Definitely gonna play around with your tracker and provide some feedback, great work!

Finally, some actual data to shut down the energy FUD. Most of the mainstream stats are totally outdated or biased. Props for open-sourcing this, definitely checking out the repo.
