"Noobs to Ninjas: A Beginner's Guide to Mastering Garry's Mod"

What's good guys, I'm hyped to start this thread on Garry's Mod (Gmod) for all the newbies out there. For those who don't know, Gmod is a total conversion mod for Half-Life 2 that lets you create your own games within the game - it's like a digital LEGO box. So, I'm looking for some advice on how to take my gameplay from zero to hero.
