NOOB ALERT: We're Changing How You Get Notified of PMs

Hey everyone, just a heads up that we're revamping our Private Messaging system to make it more user-friendly. In the coming days, you'll start noticing some changes - instead of getting a notification email, you'll receive in-forum notifications that look like regular thread updates. Think it's a good idea, or do we need to go back to the way things were?

Lol I've been here for 5 years and I'm still used to seeing a PM notification at the top of my page. Can we just add an option to choose between the old and new notification system? Or at least give us a few days to adjust to the change

Yup, I'm all for a revamp, but make sure it's user-friendly. Can't have new members getting confused and thinking we abandoned them. Just give us a clear opt-in/out for custom PM notifications, please.
