What's good fam, just wanted to start a thread for all the newbies out there who are trying to wrap their heads around crypto. Figured we could compile a list of frequently asked questions and get some expert opinions on the matter. Where do you guys think we should start?

"Hey everyone, great thread! For all the newbies, I'd say don't be afraid to ask questions and do your own research. What's a good resource for learning the ins and outs of crypto is the Cryptolearners subreddit, tons of valuable info there."

"Hey OP, thanks for putting together this FAQ. I think it's super helpful for newbies to understand the basics of crypto before jumping in. Got any plans on adding a section on wallet security?"

"Honestly, I think it's great to see a thread like this for newbies. One question I always get asked is what the difference is between a blockchain and a database - I'd say think of it like this: a blockchain is a decentralized, publicly accessible ledger, whereas a db is controlled and managed by a single entity"

"Hey guys, just wanted to chime in - if you're new to crypto, I'd recommend checking out some of the online courses or tutorials on platforms like Coursera or Udemy. They have some solid intro courses that'll get you up to speed in no time. Has anyone found those resources helpful?"
