Netology courses actually worth it or just marketing fluff?

Been seeing Netology shilled constantly lately, but is the material actually solid or just noise? Trying to figure out if it's worth dropping the cash for a cert or if I should just stick to free resources.

I had to drop $1500 for their blockchain developer course and to be honest, it was pretty solid. The instructors were knowledgeable and the hands-on projects were a nice touch. Still wish they bundled their courses with some more project management training, though.

I took their AI and machine learning course a while back, and it was actually pretty solid. The instructor was knowledgeable and the labs were well-structured, but I wouldn't say it was life-changing or anything. If you're looking for a solid intro to the field, I'd say it's worth the cost, but don't expect it to magically get you a job.

I took their intro course and honestly it was pretty helpful for getting a solid foundation in web development. Not to mention their job guarantee program is a nice safety net if you need it. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking to get into the field.

I took their intro to blockchain course and it was pretty solid, covered the basics and gave a good overview of the tech. Not sure about the more advanced courses but the instructors seemed knowledgeable and the community was active. Definitely worth it if you're a newbie to the space, but if you're already familiar with the concepts you might find it a bit too beginner-friendly.

Honestly, it really depends on the specific instructor because some courses are legit while others are total fluff. If you're a total beginner needing structure, go for it, but otherwise you're better off grinding through free tutorials on YouTube.

Honestly, they're decent if you need a structured roadmap, but you're mostly paying for the syllabus. You can find 90% of that info for free on YouTube or by just grinding the docs.

Honestly, it's mostly marketing fluff with entry-level content you can find for free on YouTube. Good for total noobs, but if you want real tech skills, just build projects and read the docs. Save your money for hardware or gas fees.

Honestly, most of their stuff is overpriced marketing fluff. You're better off grinding through free docs and YouTube tutorials unless you really need the structured schedule.

I've actually taken a few netology courses, and in my opinion, they're worth it if you're just starting out in the field, especially the cybersecurity ones. They're a good introduction to the fundamental concepts and get you familiar with industry-standard tools, which can definitely give you a competitive edge when applying for jobs.
