Netology certs: legit or just a flex?

Thinking about picking up a Netology cert to beef up my resume, but I'm wondering if they actually hold any weight in the industry. Do hiring managers respect them, or is it just paying for a fancy badge to flex on LinkedIn?

Honestly I think Netology certs are a solid starting point for anyone serious about networking, their curriculum is pretty comprehensive and covers all the basics, I got mine in a month and it's already helped me land a few interviews. I'd recommend 'em to anyone looking to get into the field without breaking the bank.

Honestly, it’s mostly a flex unless you’re just starting out. You’re better off building a solid GitHub repo or shipping a real project if you want to get hired.
