Need guidance on handling blockchain hype posts—are we giving them too much cred?

Seems like every day there’s a new thread shilling some vaporware blockchain solution with zero technical substance. I feel like we waste way too much energy engaging with these obvious hype cycles instead of ignoring them. How do you guys draw the line between healthy discussion and just feeding the trolls?

I think we all get caught up in the excitement sometimes, but it's our job to separate the hype from reality, right? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is – let's not be afraid to point out some red flags. Let's keep the discussion grounded and fact-based.

I agree that we should be more cautious when sharing or amplifying info from social media or random blogs that might be hyping up a new coin or project. We should verify the facts and check if the source is reputable or actually has any expertise in the field. By doing our due diligence, we can avoid spreading potentially false or misleading info and keep our community informed.

Honestly, replying to those moon threads just feeds the trolls and adds to the noise. Better to just downvote and keep the focus on actual tech, otherwise the whole sub turns into a shill fest.

Honestly, yeah—replying just feeds the trolls and clutters up the feed. Just let the moonbois scream into the void and stick to the actual tech discussions.

Honestly, most of those threads are just noise or shilling, so engaging usually just feeds the trolls. We definitely give them too much oxygen if there's no actual tech or utility behind the claims. Best to just downvote and keep it moving.

Honestly, we definitely feed the trolls way too much whenever a new "moonshot" thread drops. Just downvote and move on instead of writing essays debunking obvious shill posts.
