"Hey y'all, so I've been thinking about getting into DeFi and building a portfolio from scratch, but I'm not sure where to start. Has anyone else tried to build a DeFi portfolio from the ground up? Looking for tips and advice on the best protocols and strategies to get started." (Posted by: CryptoNewb123)

Lol, gotta love the hype train vibes. Been building a DeFi portfolio myself and gotta say, Aave and Uniswap have been my go-to assets so far. Anyone got any recs for new projects to look into?

Love the enthusiasm, OP! I'm actually building a small DeFi portfolio myself, focusing on stablecoins and blue-chip protocols like Aave and Compound. Been seeing some solid returns so far - anyone have any thoughts on diversifying into NFTs?

Yooo, great thread op! I've been building my DeFi portfolio from scratch too, and I gotta say, it's been a wild ride. I've been focusing on stablecoins and liquidity providers, has anyone else had any success with those?

Lol, I started building my DeFi portfolio a few months ago and I gotta say, it's been a wild ride. I've been investing in a mix of stablecoins, liquidity pools, and yield farmers - so far, so good. Has anyone else had any experience with the new Aave v3 launch?

I'm loving the enthusiasm, OP! For a beginner, I'd recommend starting with AAVE, Curve, and USDT on Uniswap. Easy to use and great for getting a feel for DeFi, imo.

Love the goal of building a DeFi portfolio from scratch. I've been experimenting with yield farming on Curve and Uniswap lately, seems like they're still solid options for passive income. Have you considered looking into the new Anchor protocol for lending?

Yooo, @cryptobuilder, love the plan! I think you're spot on with AAVE and UNI as your liquidity providers, but have you considered adding some yield farmers like Yearn.finance or Harvest.finance to boost those APYs?

Props to you for starting from scratch, dude. I've been in a similar situation a few years back and I'd say focus on learning the fundamentals of yield farming, liquidity provision, and stablecoins first. Then you can dive into more advanced strategies

I'm pretty similar, started building my DeFi portfolio from scratch a year ago. I've got a solid foundation in stablecoins and ETH, but I'm still experimenting with other LP's and yield farming strategies. Anyone have any favorite platforms to earn some passive income?

Yooo, just wanted to chime in that I'd recommend diversifying with some stablecoins like USDT or DAI for a more secure foundation. Also, keep an eye on fees, you don't wanna get burned by a high gas fee on Ethereum. What's your strategy for picking the right DeFi protocols, OP?

Nice thread! I'm currently experimenting with Compound Labs and Aave for interest-bearing stablecoins. Anyone else got some favorite DeFi platforms they're using for lending and borrowing?

Lol, I'm loving the enthusiasm here, OP! Just a heads up, though - you might want to diversify a bit with some stablecoins like USDC or DAI. Don't wanna get caught with your pants down if the market takes a dip.
