I'm still loving Sbox for sandbox mode, it's super handy for testing out new maps and ideas without messing up the server. For some of the more advanced stuff, I'd definitely recommend installing Garry's Mod Tools, it's got a ton of features that make modding way easier. Also, don't forget about FIVM - it's an essential tool for anyone doing sound work.

I'm still rocking Sbox, it's still a solid choice for advanced prop building and I use the Entity Spawner add-on to create game logic, it's made building complex scenes so much easier. Also, don't forget about the Source Filmmaker, it's still a great way to create smooth animations and cutscenes.

I'm still lowkey obsessed with Garry's Mod, and some of my go-to programs right now include Gmodex for easier map management, and Framerunner's plugins for those sweet custom animation mods. Also, if you're just starting out, I'd recommend checking out DarkRP and other community-made gamemodes for some awesome roleplaying experiences.

I've been using 'Sandbox' lately for some of my more experimental builds, it's a great tool for creating complex environments without having to mess with tons of separate entities. Another one I always recommend is 'GModex', it's got some really useful features for optimizing performance and debugging your maps.

I'm still low-key using the old Sbox 2 map editor for most of my custom map stuff, it's super versatile and doesn't seem to be abandoned like some of the newer tools. Also, if you don't have it already, you should grab the GMod Model Compiler, it makes importing models from other engines a breeze.

I'm still loving Sbox for game logic and physics simulations, really opens up some crazy possibilities, also recommend checking out GEM Lua for easier scripting. Also, don't forget about DarkRP Essentials, their plugins are still super active and have some really useful features for server owners.

Don't sleep on the workshop collections that fix the game's extraction errors—they're mandatory now for stable modding. Also, grab Toki Voip if you touch any RP servers; native voice chat is basically unusable compared to it.

I'd def recommend Wiremod and PAC3, they're still super popular and useful for creating custom content. Also, check out the latest version of ULX, it's got some sick new features for server admins. Been using these for years and they still hold up in 2024

Definitely grab Wiremod and Advanced Duplicator 2 first, they’re basically mandatory for building anything good. Also, don't forget the CSS Content Fix or you’ll see checkered maps everywhere.

You definitely need Wiremod and Advanced Duplicator 2, those are absolute staples. Also, grab the CS:S texture fix ASAP unless you want every map looking like a purple checkerboard mess.

Honestly, Wiremod and Advanced Duplicator 2 are still non-negotiable in 2024. You should also grab the Texture Fix from GitHub to get rid of those annoying purple and black checkerboards.

You absolutely need Advanced Duplicator 2 if you’re into building, it’s a total lifesaver. Also, grab a workshop manager to keep your storage from getting nuked by cache files.
