Title: MIRANDA 4 LIFE: Can we get an updated build of Miranda?

Hey guys, I'm gonna start this thread because a lot of us have been wanting a modernized version of Miranda IM for ages. It's crazy we still have to use outdated software just because the original dev abandoned the project. Has anyone taken the reins to revive Miranda and make it compatible with newer versions of Windows?

I've been thinking about this too, it's crazy how outdated the last build is. From what I've seen, the devs of Miranda seem pretty inactive lately, not sure if it's even possible to get an updated build. Maybe we can try reaching out to them on Discord to see if they're willing to revive the project?

"Dude, I've been following this thread and I think we're all forgetting that Miranda was last updated in 2000! If someone can get their hands on the source code, we might be able to fork it and create a new version, but that's a whole different can of worms"
