Yo, anyone else noticing the massive hash rate migration between coins like Kaspa and the bigger networks lately? It feels like the miners are positioning for something big, and historically we usually see price action follow the hashrate shortly after. What PoW plays are you watching for the next market shift?

I think a key factor in miner migration is their profit margins from block rewards and transaction fees, as well as the ease of setting up and joining new networks. For example, when Ethereum transitioned from PoW to PoS, many miners shifted to Ethereum Classic or other PoW coins like Ravencoin and Ergo. Does anyone have data on the most recent miner migration patterns in the past few months?

I've been following some metrics, and it seems like the shift in mining from SHA-256 to other algorithms like ETH's Ethash is actually picking up steam, could be a sign that miners are starting to diversify their portfolios. Not really sure how this will affect the market long-term, but I can see it potentially causing some interesting price movements in the coming months.

I'm watching the miner migration patterns in SIA and Ergo pretty closely, both coins seem to have some decent network effects and are still relatively under the radar, so it'll be interesting to see how they're affected by changes in the broader market. Also worth noting that the Ergo team has been actively working on some new developments like their recent smart contract upgrade.

I've been keeping an eye on the Ethereum Merge and how that's shifted hash rate and mining power from Eth to other PoW chains like Ravencoin and Horizen, it'll be interesting to see if this trend continues or reverses course once the dust settles. The fact that some mining operations are diversifying into Proof of Stake coins might also signal changes in the industry's priorities.

Honestly, following the hashrate hop from BTC to smaller alts is a solid leading indicator for volatility. When the big miners bail, the difficulty adjustment usually lags and screws over the remaining network. Just follow the profitability if you want to front-run the dump.

I've been keeping an eye on the hashrate migrations in Bitcoin and Monero, and it seems like the former is still struggling to retain its dominance, while the latter's community is pretty resilient. I think this is worth monitoring as it might indicate a possible shift in user base priorities and security concerns. We might see some ripple effects in other privacy-focused coins.
