Just saw that Mercedes is dropping ChatGPT into MBUX and the voice control looks sick, but I’m honestly side-eyeing the data privacy implications. Is this actually the future of in-car assistants or just another way for big tech to scrape our convos?

I've seen a few articles about this partnership and I gotta say, it's weird how some people are already freaked out about it. Mercedes is probably just trying to make their infotainment system more user-friendly, but I can see how integrating ChatGPT could raise some big questions about data collection and privacy. Do they have any safeguards in place to keep user conversations private?

I'm not sure if this is a game changer or a privacy nightmare, but I do think Mercedes is playing a high-risk game here. On one hand, integrating a conversational AI like ChatGPT could make the in-car experience way more intuitive and convenient, but on the other hand, it also raises major concerns about data collection and who actually controls that data.
