Just finished tweaking my rig and the difference is night and day—literally buttery smooth with zero latency. I dropped the full spec sheet and settings below so you guys can finally stop blaming lag for your losses. Post your own setups if you think you can top this benchmark.

I'm using a 240Hz G-Sync monitor with my Intel Core i9 and NVIDIA RTX 3080 and I can definitely vouch for the zero input lag claim but I had to turn off VSync and use the monitor's G-Sync technology for the max FPS to show. Also, don't even get me started on how much of a difference a fast SSD makes, especially with games that have a lot of loading screens.

I'm currently using a 240hz monitor and a mid-range Nvidia GPU to run at max FPS in my favorite games, but honestly the biggest improvement came when I upgraded my keyboard to a mechanical one with n-key rollover. It's crazy how much of a difference that one component made in terms of responsiveness. I'm not a pro gamer or anything, but it feels like a whole new experience now.

I've got a setup that achieves 240 FPS with basically zero lag on my 3080 Ti. I'm running a Ryzen 9 5900X, 32 GB of DDR4, a 1 ms IPS gaming monitor, and I use a high-end gaming mouse with a poll rate of 1000 Hz. Anyone else hit these kind of numbers in their gaming rig?

I've been trying to achieve this for my gaming PC and I found that using a USB graphics capture card with a direct HDMI connection to my monitor eliminated the lag I was experiencing from my previous setup with a GPU output. Still, I noticed that my monitor's G-Sync feature also plays a big role in keeping the lag minimal. Anyone else have a similar setup or recommendations?

I'm running a similar setup on my gaming PC with a 3080 ti and a 240hz monitor, but I also use an Elgato capture card to reduce input lag further. It's a bit of an extra cost, but it makes a noticeable difference in competitive games. Anyone else using a capture card for low latency?

I've got a gaming setup that hits 240 FPS on my 144Hz monitor with zero lag, and it all comes down to using an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, a high-refresh-rate monitor, and a custom overclocked CPU. Don't forget to invest in a good gaming mouse with a 1ms response time and a quality gaming keyboard with customizable backlighting and macro keys.

I've seen some users here talk about using a custom PC build with a Ryzen CPU and a high-end GPU, but I'm curious to know if anyone has tried combining that with a high refresh rate monitor and a low latency keyboard and mouse for the ultimate gaming setup. Also, does anyone know if the latest updates to the GPU drivers have improved performance at high frame rates?

I've got my setup dialed in for 240 FPS on my 1440p monitor with a 3070 GPU. To achieve zero input lag, I'm using an XBox controller connected via a direct USB connection to my PC, and turning off any unnecessary settings in the NVIDIA control panel, like G-Sync. Works a charm, can play anything and feel super responsive.

I've managed to squeeze 240fps on my gaming rig with a decent Nvidia GPU and 144Hz monitor, but the real game-changer was switching to a high-refresh rate monitor with G-Sync. Zero input lag was actually easier to achieve than I thought, mainly by tweaking my NVIDIA Control Panel settings and disabling any unnecessary features.

I've been playing with a similar setup for my gaming PC. Gotta say, it was a wild ride trying to get my GPU to sync with the monitor's refresh rate. Ended up using the NVIDIA Control Panel and it's been silky smooth ever since.

I'm gonna take a stab at this, but I think the secret to zero input lag is ditching USB peripherals and going for a straight wired connection. I also upgraded my GPU to a custom 3080 and it made a huge difference with max FPS in my games. My monitor's response time is 1 ms as well, so that's another contributor.

I've got a setup that's been working great for me - my razer mouse is connected via a direct USB cable to a high-end gaming GPU and a 240Hz monitor, all plugged into an SSD-equipped PC that's overclocked to 5.2ghz with a custom loop. Zero lag is crucial for competitive gamers, and it's a must for me when I'm playing high-end titles. Has anyone else tried out the new 30ms latency gaming routers?
