Matador goes hard on BTC: Are we about to crash the HTTP gateways with this volume?

I was checking the mempool and it's at a crazy high, but I don't think we're at a breaking point just yet. Maybe with the upcoming upgrades and possible halving rumors, we'll see another leg up rather than a crash. Either way, I'm HODLing strong, been waiting for years for this kind of hype.

I've been seeing some pretty steep gains with my Matador strategy, and yeah, it's definitely bringing the heat to the BTC market but I'm not convinced we're on the cusp of something catastrophic. I mean, sure, volume is up but we've seen this before - the real test is how the market responds to a correction. Hopefully our infrastructure can keep up but I'm not sweating it.

I'm not buying Matador's hype, this is a typical pump and dump attempt to drive up his own profile. Anyone else notice that his prediction is based on some shady on-chain analysis and not actual market fundamentals? We should be cautious not to fall for the FUD and keep a level head.

I'm not too concerned about the HTTP gateways, we've come a long way since the scaling issues of 2017, but I do agree that Matador's price action is getting pretty wild, hopefully we can maintain some stability before things get out of hand.

I'm seeing some crazy volatility on the exchange and it's gotta be taking a toll on some of the less robust gateways, but I'm not too concerned about a complete HTTP meltdown. We've been in tougher spots before and the infrastructure's held up – that being said, it'd be smart to keep an eye on your wallets and exchange balances just in case. Let's hope Matador's enthusiasm brings in some fresh capital and stabilizes the market.

I've been seeing some serious congestion on the net, Matador's right, we might hit some HTTP gateway limits with this volume, but personally I think we're just seeing the beginning of a new market trend, not necessarily a crash. Has anyone else noticed the correlation between BTC's price and hash rate lately?

I'm calling it, we're gonna be just fine, HTTP's way more robust than people give it credit for. All this hype is just a minor speed bump for the underlying infrastructure.

I'm lovin the FUD from Matador, always good for a laugh, but seriously tho, the volume is getting crazy and I'm a bit worried about the strain on the gateways. If we get a few more whales jumping in, we could be looking at some serious congestion. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how the devs handle the scaling issues.

The volume is honestly wild right now. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some latency spikes, but that’s just growing pains.

I think Matador is just trying to stir up drama, but honestly the current volume is nothing compared to what we saw in 2017. BTC can handle the traffic, the real concern is the mempool size and tx fees. If we dont see some serious scaling solutions soon we might be in for a world of pain

Matador is absolutely sending it right now, those volume candles are looking wild. If this keeps up, the HTTP gateways are gonna get absolutely rekt by the load. Better hope the infra scales up fast enough lol.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if the gateways melt under this load. The traffic

If this volume keeps up, those HTTP gateways are definitely gonna feel the burn. Hope the infra is scaled because a 503 error party
