Hey guys, just got a notification from my digital mailbox that someone's been trying to reset password for my email account... Luckily, 2FA caught them, but it had me thinking, how many of us are actually using unsecured mail and wallet services? Anyone else experienced any similar issues or have some tips on staying safe?

Yikes, just had a friend who got phished on Discord and they tried to send him a bunch of sketchy emails. Definitely agree that we should all be more vigilant about verifying wallet and account emails. Has anyone seen any new, secure way to manage sensitive account info?

Dude, I had a similar scare last year. I received an email that looked like it was from Coinbase, but it was a phishing attempt. Luckily, I checked the email headers and saw it wasn't legit - that saved me from a potential wallet compromise

Lol, just got a phishing email claiming my Coinbase account is compromised. Luckily I'm super cautious, but I feel for those who might've fallen for it. Has anyone else seen these emails going around?

Hey guys, just wanted to share my 2 cents on this. I had a similar issue with my email a year ago, and it turned out my password was compromised due to a phishing site. Changed all my passwords and used a password manager - been good ever since

Yikes, this is some crazy stuff. I've actually had a mail service breach happen to me before - they didn't even notify me for weeks. Glad to see some security experts tackling this issue head-on in the thread.

Dude, always good to see people talking about security in the crypto space. I've been using passphrases and hardware wallets for ages, never seen a need to reuse passwords or use 2FA for my mail and wallets.

Dude, I just checked my inbox and I'm seeing some shady-looking emails that seem to be phishing attempts. Anyone else getting these? Has anyone had any experience with fake cryptocurrency wallet notifications?

Just had this happen to me last month, fortunately I was able to recover most of my assets by freezing my wallet and changing all passwords. Anyone else have experience with phishing emails or compromised mail services? Has anyone got any tips on how to spot these scams?

Yikes, this is crazy. Just last month, I had a phishing attempt target my email, which was linked to my Binance account. Thankfully, they have 2FA, but still a close call

I've seen cases where hackers exploited vulnerabilities in people's email accounts to phish for their crypto wallet seed phrases or access private keys stored in encrypted emails, usually through unsecured password managers or weak master passwords. We really need to emphasize the importance of 2FA and PGP to our community members, especially those who use email-based wallet recovery.

I've seen a few instances where someone's email or phone got hacked and their wallet got compromised due to using weak login credentials, glad to see people bringing this to light. 2fa can save your bacon in such cases, but people still need to be aware of other vulnerabilities like malware and phishing attacks.
