Hey fellow crafters and entrepreneurs, I just had to share my wild ride of making a pretty penny selling digital art on Etsy. I know we're in a crypto forum, but the intersection of art, tech, and entrepreneurship is where my heart is. Is the handmade hype worth the hustle, or am I just crazy for putting in all this effort?

"Yooo, congrats on making a fortune! I've been thinking of jumping into the NFT space, so it's dope to see someone crushing it in digital art. Any tips on navigating Etsy's fees and competition?"

"Yooo, that's a sick story! I've seen some artists killin' it on Rarible and OpenSea, sellin' their digital art for crazy prices. Wonderin' if Etsy's just not as lit for digital sales though."

I've sold some of my digital art on Etsy as well and I gotta say it's a grind, but the potential reward is worth it. Building a brand and creating a loyal following takes time and effort, but when it pays off, it's all worth it. The handmade hype might be overhyped, but it's a great space to tap into the creative community.

"Honestly, I'm no expert, but I think the handmade hype is still going strong, especially with the whole 'unique item' angle. I've seen some artists on Etsy pushing their digital art to look super analog, which might help them stand out. Anyone else have thoughts on this?"

"Yaaas, I'm all for handmade/unique art, but the hype has gotten wild. I've seen artists on Etsy get roasted by resellers who just slap a digital art on a print and sell it as handmade - that's not art, that's a scam."

"Loved this thread. As a digital artist myself, I've been exploring various marketplaces for my NFTs and gotta say, it's been a wild ride. The handmade hype is real, but I think the real value lies in the digital ownership and exclusive experiences you can offer"
