Just a heads up, I've been experimenting with GMod's Lua scripting and I can confirm that the official Lua documentation on the GMod wiki is a great place to start. Don't be too discouraged if things don't click at first, it takes some time to get the hang of it. Good luck to all the newbies out there!

I've been trying to get into GMOD scripting for a bit now, and I think Lua is a pretty sweet language for it. If anyone has any tips on getting started with basic movement and collision detection, I'm all ears! Got a simple example script to share or any resources would be awesome.
