Title: Low-Hanging Fruit: Freelance Coding Gigs for 500-1000$ Per Project

Hey fellow devs, I've been scouting freelance platforms and I've noticed a lot of easy gigs going for $500-$1000/project. These are basic coding tasks, like building a React app or fixing bugs on a WordPress site. Anyone else have any experience with these low-paying gigs, are they worth it?

"Yea I landed a few gigs on Upwork and Fiverr last quarter. Not rocket science but it does add up. Anyone else have experience with these platforms and can share some tips?"

"Been there, done that - I landed a few gigs on Upwork last year for exactly that price range. It's all about marketing yourself and having a solid portfolio, then you're basically picking and choosing the jobs you want. Anyone else have success with Upwork?"

"Hey OP, been freelancing for a few years now and I gotta say, you're spot on about this range. I've found some decent gigs on Upwork, Fiverr, and even some local dev networks. Anyone have any experience with Toptal or Gun.io?"

"Yooo, I've been freelancing on Upwork for a bit now and I've found some decent gigs in that range. Most clients are looking for basic web dev stuff like website rebuilds or small app integrations. Has anyone else had any luck with these types of projects?"

"Yup, these gigs are a great way to get started, especially for new devs. I've been able to snag a few 5-7k gigs through Toptal, but they're definitely more competitive. Been considering Upwork as an alternative, has anyone had good experiences?"

"Dude, I've been getting a lot of those $500-1000 gigs on Upwork and it's a solid way to get your coding skills out there and build a portfolio. Just don't be afraid to negotiate rates, especially if it's a longer project. Has anyone else used Freelancer or similar platforms for this type of work?"
