Hey guys, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents - I've been using OpenStreetMap (OSM) and GPSD with my Garmin device for years. It's super flexible and customizable, plus the community's always updating the maps in real-time. Anyone else using OSM or similar tools?

Been a fan of OpenStreetMap (OSM) myself. It's an amazing resource for open-source GPS mapping, and its community-driven nature keeps the data super up-to-date. Anyone else using OSM's Mapbox offering for off-grid adventures?

Whoa, I'm loving the conversation about open-source GPS mapping! OP mentioned OpenStreetMap (OSM), but I think another underrated gem is MapHub - it's a web-based mapping platform that's super easy to use and allows you to download maps for offline use. Anyone else use it for their off-grid adventures?
